Cryptocurrencies cannot fulfill our Christmas wish - Las criptomonedas no pueden cumplir nuestro deseo de navidad

A nice attitude that, for lovers of family movies, is simple, and full of wishes fulfilled and love is something irresistible. This year, to be precise, that 24-hour month of Christmas movies became two months.
Perhaps a little exaggerated considering that there aren't that many movies of this genre and although some are added every year, repetition is inevitable, and with it comes boredom.
Anyway, all these movies have a happy ending and Christmas wishes are fulfilled in the letter.
It does not seem that the same will happen with the desire of many to have a better Christmas thanks to cryptocurrencies, perhaps I am a bit pessimistic and risky to announce this when there are still almost two weeks left for the event, but as my grandmother says when the river sounds are because it brings water.
FTX has caused a confidence catastrophe if it was necessary to add one more share of that negative component, and some exchanges such as Binance, for example, which is the largest in the world, launched a perhaps desperate measure to reverse the pessimism and mistrust of the folks, Proof of Reserve called her out and urged other exchanges to do the same.
Its first report turned out to be almost a fiasco, analyzed by the Mazars firm, a world leader in audits, analysis and financial reports, and cybersecurity has shown an inconsistency in the bitcoin reserve, it indicates that the report could indicate that Binance has the reserve of bitcoins in reserve. equivalent to 97% of your client's bitcoins, but taken another way it could indicate that you have 101%. I will not go into technical details that I cannot fully understand, but the truth is that the numbers do not matter and that, although the differences are meager and the guarantees would seem to be sufficient, always generates mistrust.
Here in my country, the Lemon company, my favorite until a certain moment, decided to publish its reservations within its main application. That was completely overshadowed by the dismissal of almost 40% of its staff just a few days before and the change in the rules on the payment of backcash for purchases with your card.
Perhaps for them and for some that are enough to mitigate the mistrust of users, I assure you that not for me, I have not used it since then and I doubt that I will again. Trust is something that is earned over time and lost in a second. I'm convinced the Lemon people are checking it out right now.
Only Hive keeps me firm in my convictions that this works, despite the fact that it is also very depressing despite everything that has been done. Perhaps we hivers enthusiasts see more than it can give us or maybe we just need to continue waiting until next Christmas.

Desde hace algunos pocos años, un canal de cable que tenemos en nuestro listado pasa durante el período previo y algunos días después del 25 de diciembre, 24 horas de películas cuya temática exclusiva es la navidad. Una simpática actitud que, para los amantes de las películas familiares, sencillas, y plenas de deseos cumplidos y amor es algo irresistible. Este año, para ser preciso, ese mes de 24 horas de películas navideñas pasó a ser dos meses.
Quizás un poco exagerado pensando que no hay tantas películas de ese género y aunque todos los años se agregan algunas, la repetición es inevitable y con ello viene el aburrimiento.
Como sea, todas esas películas tienen final feliz y los deseos navideños terminan cumpliéndose a rajatablas.
No parece que vaya a ocurrir lo mismo con el deseo de muchos de tener una navidad mejor gracias a las criptomonedas, quizás sea un tanto pesimista y arriesgado al anunciar esto cuando aun faltan casi dos semanas para el evento, pero como dice mi abuela, cuando el río suena es porque trae agua.
FTX ha provocado una hecatombe de confianza, si es que era necesario agregar una cuota más de ese componente tan negativos y algunos exchanges como por ejemplo Binance que es el más grande del mundo lanzaron una medida quizás desesperada para revertir el pesimismo y la desconfianza de la gente, Proof of Reserve la llamó e instó a otras casas de intercambio a hacer lo mismo.

Eso quedó totalmente opacado por el despido de casi el 40% de su personal tan solo unos día antes y el cambio de reglas en el pago del backcash por las compras con su tarjeta.
Quizás para ellos y para algunos eso sea suficiente para mitigar la desconfianza de los usuarios, les aseguro que para mi no, no he vuelto a utilizarla desde ese entonces y dudo que vuelva a hacerlo. La confianza es algo que se gana con el tiempo y se pierde en un segundo. Estoy convencido que la gente de Lemon lo está comprobando en estos momentos.
Solo Hive me mantiene firme en mis convicciones de que esto sirve, pese a que también está muy deprimido pese a todo lo que se viene haciendo. Quizás los entusiastas de la colmena vemos más de lo que nos puede dar o quizás solo haga falta continuar esperando tan solo hasta la siguiente navidad.

This is certainly the dilemma of the situation. It will take some time before trust is regained. The funny thing is that there wasn't sufficient trust for crypto in the first place. That's why many people see the FTX collapse (and all other collapses this year) as a setback for the crypto space.
Here in my country, as in some others, trust in politics, government, economy, currency and financial institutions tends to zero, that's why many of us embrace cryptocurrencies with hope, as always some take advantage of it ( like FTX and others) but there we are, I still believe.
Indeed. There's little to no trust left for the traditional system. Cryptocurrency is a hope for many of us and I'm quite positive that it will live up to it.
