14 Years of Bitcoin - A Long Journey

Bitcoin has been a game changer and today marks the 14 years of its journey. It's been over a decade and even this time has been such a great journey for crypto enthusiasts and this is just the beginning. With bitcoin, a new era has started that is capable of providing a financial alternative that is not dependent on the banking system.

I believe that the last 5 years have been a game changer in bitcoin's journey and this has resulted in significant growth in the crypto market and we can expect much more in the coming years. Those who are part of crypto for the last 4-5 years must have seen the growth trend. Earlier crypto and bitcoin were only for trading but now things are evolving and we have multiple options for investment as well as a bunch of other ways to generate returns on the investment.

Happy Genesis Block Day! January 3 is the 14th anniversary of Bitcoin’s Block Zero, its anchor in time. That time, in 2009, was one of economic turmoil—and the aftershocks from that turmoil are still rocking our world in 2023.

Bitcoin mining is another segment of business and there are many big firms involved in the mining business. During the bull run these organizations make a lot of money however they lose money in a bear market. Now when the market is not doing well so is the time when mining is not that profitable and even in some countries it's loss-making. Individual mining is not easy now because the difficulty level has increased.

Bitcoin is the mother currency and at least for the next decade, we can not expect any other coin that can replace bitcoin. We have so many altcoins in the market but even now bitcoin is king and most of things are dependent on the bitcoin price and its market movement.

People invest in altcoins but they also maintain a certain percentage in bitcoin because its the safest option and this proves that bitcoin is king and will be the same for at least the next decade. Let's accumulate bitcoin as much as possible and once it will be 100k USD or more then we can enjoy the returns on the investment and this will need to do with a long-term mindset.
