Well, he might be right, I will probably be eating bugs, with or without being happy, if this bear market prolongs itself long enough, but at least I know I won't be falling for the legacy system and their "fake meat".

Bitcoin moved last night... Yes, it did. After hanging at around $16,800 for literally an entire day we now have it testing the line at $16,700. Booo, BTC lost $100 in valuation in one day. I guess it's time to sell and buy gold, cuz gold is doing good lately, it's +5.85% up for the past 30 days.

Hurray... Peter Schiff must be happy and he already started being vocal on Twitter once again about why is it bad to buy Bitcoin. He usually does that near the bottom. Well, let me tell you why Bitcoin, despite its fall from the sky, is still a better option than gold and probably even stocks and will be like that for many years to come.

When mandates hit us like a boot in the face, just a couple of years ago, if one would have chosen to flee from one country to another, what would have been the best way to do that? Having gold in one's reserves and taking that on the flee, or Bitcoin? You don't even carry Bitcoin with you, you just memorize 12 keywords, or write them somewhere and encrypt the thing.

The same principle applies to the Ukraine war.

Gold is safer, less suitable for insane volatility, and already an established asset. Good point, it's an asset of the establishment and I don't like the establishment. During the covid pandemic, all the establishment did is turn the "peace forces" into the most tyrannical ones against populations worldwide and boot stamp us like we were animals.

During the pandemic, if it wasn't for Hive I would have been in deep shit. Hive was my "flee kit" from the tyrannical measures. So, what's the point of all of the above? Well, the point is pretty simple...

Now that FTX has exposed all the shit the crypto industry was starting to get filled with and the crypto market is scrapping the bottom, hopefully... We somehow deviated a bit from the core values of crypto and let ourselves be dragged into the "dark ages" of the bear market.

Stomach the volatility...

If you have enough money right now to buy the discounts we have across the board, do that, if not... well, keep hustling on Hive, do something to earn some crypto, and write it on the walls: buy low, sell high. I sure know I will do that.

As I mentioned in quite a few posts of mine by now, I have played the past bull market quite awfully. I had plenty of profits to take off the table, I had a couple of nice airdrops that could have been converted into cash, or why not HBD(20% APR ;)), and my life now would have been easier.

I haven't done that, it's painful to be living off crypto right now, but that's what I chose to do a couple of years ago and the reason for this choice was exemplified in the first paragraphs of the post. There's no better hedge against the system right now other than crypto.

Ths FTX shit show will definitely push regulators to regulate more, but they can't kill anything. Bottoms are painful for crypto participants like myself, quite a nice opportunity for properly balanced investors, but bottom scrapping is going to come to an end too. Choose the right shovel to do that, though.
