Bitcoin goes to School but Hive's LeoGlossary has been a School

Many are in agreement that one of the major hindrance to the mass adoption of cryptocurrency is education. My personal attempts in my locality to broker partnerships with academic outfits to educate their learners on crypto, Bitcoin and Hive has witnessed a lot of resistance. Crypto researcher, Josh Cowell also shares this views and suggested that crypto education can improve upon a learner's financial literacy if done correctly.

Cointelegraph reports that one of the largest US colleges has begun teaching students about Bitcoin. The announcement dated January 13, 2023, credited to an Associate Professor Korok Ray of Mays Business School at Texas A&M, reveals that the students would begin to offer "Bitcoin protocol a course.

the said course would be taught to students in the College of Engineering and Mays Business School when the Spring Semester starts on January 17, 2023. Moreover, the professor adds that a “Programming Bitcoin” course will follow the first Bitcoin course, to help students learn how to “build a Bitcoin library from scratch.”

This classroom adoption of Bitcoin related course in college in Texas is the seventh, joining Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Oxford University, National University of Singapore, Cornell University and the University of California Berkeley source.

This development means that Bitcoin would be taught to over 74,000 students of Texas A&M. Cointelegraph also reports that Legal and regulatory implications of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies are also being taught at U.S. colleges.
