It’s Official!

Pomelo Season 5 Applications open on February 22 and Donations start on March 1.

What is Pomelo?

Pomelo is an open-source crowdfunding platform that multiplies your contributions. Built on EOS, Pomelo helps you support the project you love.

Inspired by the Gitcoin project, Pomelo uses quadratic funding to distribute funds to public goods projects. Quadratic funding allows the community to be fully involved in the allocation of funds. Everyone can access the platform and send donations to their favorite projects.

Here are some areas in which project are presented:

Community: Raising awareness of EOS and promoting our community
Education: Providing educational resources for EOS and Web3
Arts & Media: News, magazines, film, music, visual art, etc. on EOS
DeFi: Decentralized finance tools for trading and investment
Governance: Managing decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) and smart organizations
Developer tooling: Programs and toolkits that enable developers to more easily build on EOS
Privacy & Security: Protecting data, Monitoring and auditing of systems and smart contracts.
