Dollar Cost Averaging into Crypto While Waiting for the "Bottom"

It has been roughly a month and a half that I have been waiting for bitcoin and crypto on a whole to put in that new low that could mark the bottom.

The reality is I probably should have been atleast conservatively acquiring crypto the entire time.

This is why people DCA

It feels like these instances are exactly why people dollar cost average. Granted nothing is perfect and DCA'ing when an aggressive downtrend is intact doesn't make for great results.

However, in periods of consolidation it doesn't work out too bad over the ling-term.

Anyway, the point is in recent weeks I started DCA'ing into Bitcoin and ATOM. Mainly just btc has been my acquisition focus since it broke 20k, but ATOM is the only alt in my portfolio I like that I don't have a real position in yet, so taking the opportunity to add to my long-term holdings on that.

When bitcoin does crash, i doubt there will be anyone actually selling at that price.
And whoa to any who try to get into an exchange at that time.

Sooo, buy now while these prices may not seem great, when the up trajectory comes, you will not care if you bought in at 60¢ or $1.00.

I’m with you in this man! I’ve been waiting for the same and I think that’s exactly what thousands of other people are doing and why bitcoin won’t hit those new lows. So I’m buying in again slowly getting some to see what happens. I’ve got a few buy limit orders in though which is good, in case things tank for some odd reason.
