All of my Favourite Things - Free Images
As an intro to my free images, I would like to share something with you, and that is @ericvancewalton's Pay it Forward for the Holidays, where Eric encourages us to reach out to others; it could be a stranger we cross paths with, or it could be a friend.
This is what Eric said in that post:
What I'm proposing, if you can spare it, is to invest whatever you can afford in the goodness of humanity. Even if the act of kindness costs you nothing, like a compliment or offering to open a door for someone. Simply help a stranger you cross paths with.
Most of us are celebrating the year-end holidays and some are celebrating Christmas; special times, shared with family and friends.
Yet, many live lonely lives, having lost jobs or family, and all the frivolity that takes place this time of the year only serves to emphasize their loneliness.
Eric suggested a couple of ways of paying it forward, so take a peek at his blog, and who knows, you may just find yourself a new friend, or find that you want to do this all year round.
What a better world would it not be if we all took off our blinkers, look around and see the small blessings, and pass on some of that feel-goodness.
My favourite way of paying it forward is to give someone an experience - this creates good memories, whereas meaningless gifts fade over time.
It could be tickets to a show, taking someone lonely to the park or the beach, and packing a basket of special treats that they can take home afterwards. If you have a little cash to spare, place it in a small handmade card with an encouraging note; ask them to only open it when they get home.
There are many ways I've paid it forward in the past, and even though I do not expect anything in return, it is just amazing how something good happens time and time again after reaching out to others with a kind deed.

One way we on Hive can very easily pay it forward, is to help our fellow Hive bloggers by making our images freely available to all on Hive, the cost to them is to simply credit you for the photography.
This is what the Stock Images Community is all about.
The team behind this community painstakingly indexes all images as they're shared by our community, so why not go THERE when looking for a suitable image for your Hive blog.
We have many talented photographers here on Hive, so why not join the Images and Ideas Challenge and not only share your images but also showcase them at the same time; sounds like a win-win opportunity to me!
Their current challenge topic is to share images on:
1: What you post/blog about or blogs you enjoy.
Everyone who knows me, also know that I love cooking and baking, so I will be sharing images that will fall into the categories:
Snacks, Desserts, and Baking:
Snacks - Cucumber Snacks in a jiffy
Snacks - Cheese Straws
Dessert - Peppermint Caramel Tart
Dessert - Berry & Cream Chocolate Flan
Dessert - Apple Fritter Rings
Baking - Scones
Scones with Cream & Jam
Cooking and Baking are just some of my favourite Hive blogging topics, and I hope to share some of my other favorite things next time - nature which is a broad topic, from the garden with flowers, trees, and edible crops, to the ocean, the mountains, and so much more.
I will be paying forward some of my home-baked goodies this Christmas, and look forward to hearing about how you pay it forward.
Most of all, I hope to see many more Hive bloggers share their images here in the Stock Images Community, for the benefit of everyone here in our Hive world.

I love randomly helping people. Those snacks look delicious!
It makes me happy too to help others where I can.
The cucumber snacks are so quick to make, percect for summer and look very pretty!
The cucumber snacks look amazing. I will definitely use that idea. Thank you @lizelle; the only problem I see with the stock images is that you may find your work next to ideas you don't support. Though if anyone ever approached me on HIVE to use my photos, I would be unlikely to say no.
There is something artistically empowering about taking your own photos and developing your ability to see detail and in a new way. Indeed it can also hone our ability to give compliments which enrich the both giver and receiver.
Your photography is absolutely beautiful:)
Thank you @prydefoltz, I never thought of that!
The cucumber snacks are great for summertime and do look very pretty.
We don't need state of the art cameras for simple photography like this as most cell phones have excellent cameras.
I really appreciate your comments 😉
So true my friend, giving is so much better than receiving, I've been wondering about this community too. I have some of my photos I would like to contribute to them.
You are such a giving person, I wish I could take you on an amazing experience, who knows what the future holds.
Love your blog, and @ericvancewalton philosophy is amazing.
Love you to the moon and back @lizelle have an awesome Christmas.
Having you as a friend is a gift in itself!
You have some really good images to share that will be of great use to our fellow Hivers.
💕💕☺
These look amazing and I haven't had cheese straws for years!
It's time I make some again, those were divine!
Thank you for this awesome community project.
Hi @lizelle! I was delighted with the whole proposal in this post.
Yes we can all do a little to help those we meet and our fellow Hivers.
Thank you so much for participating in the Pay It Forward initiative and helping to spread the word! Sadly, it's not getting nearly the outreach that it did in years' past. Your photos are professional quality, they look amazing and they're making me VERY hungry. That peppermint caramel tart, especially, looks uber sinful and delicious. Merry Christmas to you and your family Lizelle, you are one in a million.
Thank you Eric, my old Samsung still takes the best photos!
It's a pity but I believe that Covid lockdowns somehow changed many people's thinking and they've started living 'inwards', only looking out for themselves. It should in fact be the other way around but many ignored the lessons learned.
Let's hope we're wrong and more Hivers are/ will be paying it forward.
Helping our Hive community with delegations is another way we can pay it forward here. All of us at Silver Bloggers really appreciate your very kind & generous delegation!
Merry Christmas to you and your family as well, and I say SNAP, you truly are one in a million xxx
Those food just made me drool so hard... (^_^)
