Peel Engineering is a UK manufacturer of general fibreglass products from the 40’s and in the early 50’s started to produced prototype sports car bodies suitable for MG, Morris, Ford chassis.
There are varying claims to the number (3-10?) of body shells produced.
Viking Sport
Was another attempt to introduce a small sports car in 1966, this time based upon the Austin Mini mechanical components and 4-cyl 848cc engine.
Only two prototypes were produced before a new company Viking Performance, run by Bill Last took over production, who produced appx another twenty vehicles until 1970 as the Viking Minisport.
Bill Last was also instrumental in forming Trident Cars and between 1967-77 produced the Clipper, Venturer & Typhoon sports cars
