Goalll. Did you see the that I screamed as I jumped around the room.
My brother Dave had just bought a Play station and prior to this he'd been boasting on how he would beat me on every game.

Although he knew I had serious gaming skills but he'd been away for about six months so I was also wondering whether he had improved. It turned out he was all bluff, because I'd won every match we played and by the expression on his face he wasn't enjoying it. I kept on taunting him till he finally gave up and stormed into his room.

I knew what his problem was, he wasn't angry at me winning or the taunts. it was because I was was beating him on a game he bought with his own money. Still laughing I headed to my room to sleep and forgot about the whole incident.

The next morning I was getting ready for work and being a Monday morning, I usually start my day with my special coffee.
It was one my mum always brought as a gift whenever she visited every few weeks and I reserved it as my good luck drink for the week, so i always kept it for the start of the week.

I was surprised when I got to my kitchen and couldn't find it where I kept it. Which was weird because every other thing in the kitchen was in place except my coffee. I searched other unrelated areas and seeing that I would get late for work, I decided to leave without my good luck drink.

True to my belief I had a very horrible day at work and all I could think of was to get home and find my coffee. On getting home, I searched again and I still couldn't find my coffee. So I decided to ask my brother Dave since we were the only ones in the apartment.

Hi bro I said , knocking on the door to his room

Hey Sam, how was work today Dave replied

It was nothing short of horrible bro. I kept some of that coffee mum brings whenever she visits but I can't find it in the kitchen

Oh your favorite coffee right? he asked

Yeah that's the one

No bro, I haven't seen it Dave replied, but I thought I caught a slight curve of what was a smile on his face

Are you sure bro? You know how much I love that coffee I asked again just to be sure

I'm sure bro he replied and this time I was sure he knew something about my coffee.

Growing up with Dave and being his older brother, I'd grown up always looking after him so I knew many things about him. Like the small tells whenever he was lying.
I went back to my room after dinner and slept off.

Everything was normal for a few days till it got to the weekend. I was still sleeping on Saturday morning when I heard a knock on the door to my room. I peeped outside and standing there was Dave looking very angry.

Morning bro I greeted

Don't greet me, just tell me where you kept my play station he shouted in my face

What do you mean I replied smiling

I can't find my play station console and we both know no one lives here apart from us

Oh that play station. Maybe the game spirits decided it should be in the spirit world

This is not a joke, give me back my play station he replied. But I'd heard enough so I shut the door in his face.

I went out to check on a few friends and wasn't home till night. I was just getting out of the bathroom when I heard a knock again on my door

How're you bro I greeted as I opened the door

I'm good bro. Errr I wanted to apologise about earlier and tell you that I might've helped you keep your missing coffee Dave replied, giving me the coffee

Thanks bro. About your play station too, I might've also helped you keep it for security purposes. I replied smiling as I collected the coffee and headed into the room to get his play station.

I picked it up from where I hid it and returned it to Dave
How about a cup of coffee over a few games bro I said smiling

Try to limit the goals this time around
