THE NEED TO REGULARIZE PROPER WASTE MANAGEMENT IN AKWA IBOM STATE: keeping Our city Clean And Green..

Recently it really got to me, you see this place ..you will need to cover ur nose or hold your breath before passing thru, it's so bad the air pollution is really messy, this trash can be left here for days before this guys over there come to clean it up,...there is a great need to sensitize this environment....

Waste Management is and should be a major part of every Government age da to keep the city need and clean, whether or not humans produce waste on daily basis, and proper management system should put in place to handle this.

I was so shocked when I traveled to River State Nigeria the people were now dumping refuge by the pedestrian walk way in the middle of the high way, can you even imagine that and some major junction there, I was like what's all this, what are the authorities doing about all of these, it's insane

If you go to all of these advance western countries every were is always neat and tidy because there is a law, a system in place and a pattern to follow.

AIR POLLUTION
AS a results of all these waste dump it produce a lot of fowl smell into the air which is very dangerous to health, infested flies will carry these and paste on foods stuff cause there is a market close by, most times at night people keep stands there to sale fruits and vegetables which very dangerous to health.

When it rains the flood here drives most of these dirt into the gutters which will block water flow and then flooding.... that's why whenever it rains the entire road will be covered with water

Many other places like this all over the state, no proper waste Management system, no waste bins, even the workers there don't even have a better work safety wears to prevent health hazard ...and there is a ministry of waste Management in our Government doing absolutely nothing rather seating in huge offices collecting huge salaries per month.
I know this only works in Africa

With all the healthy challenges this will post to the safety of the people the government are not even doing anything about it, the city is messed up yet they are the once that will jump into their private jet to foriegn countries just for leisure

Our Government need to handle this properly for the health safety of her citizen, provisions should be made, to handle all of these, I hope they don't just seat in offices and collect fat pay but rather look after the environment were we live...
