The Little HODLer: El Little Presidente is in the house! | The Little HODLer: El Little Presidente ist im Haus!

After "The Little HODLer"*, "El Little Presidente" is now also in the house. German-born Lina Seiche always has her finger on the pulse of the times with her comics featuring the main character "The Little HODLer" - on the pulse of all relevant topics in the Bitcoin space. Since the president of El Salvador Nayib Bukele initiated that Bitcoin becomes official means of payment, he himself, El Salvador and Bitcoin City also appear again and again in the artist's comics. I have already reported here that the iconic figure from the comics has long been available as a physical cuddly toy. Also @reiseamateur hit directly and wants to introduce with the small holder his grandchildren to the topic. I plan to do the same with my toddler. Because the little holder is doing well on my couch, but felt a little alone, I wanted to let "El Little Presidente" keep him company. What an honor to have such a presidential visitor. LOL! By the way, "El Little Presidente" can be paid in Bitcoin.

Incidentally, the acceptance of Bitcoin among the population of El Salvador is reported to be very low. As a marketing campaign, however, the introduction as an official means of payment was a complete success. Tourism in the small country has increased by more than 100% since the launch. Incidentally, for the price of Bitcoin, the launch was a non-event, but contributes to mass adoption/awareness.

Nach "The Little HODLer"* ist jetzt auch "El Little Presidente" im Haus. Die deutschstämmige Lina Seiche ist mit ihren Comics mit der Hauptfigur "The Little HODLer" immer am Puls der Zeit - am Puls aller relevanten Themen im Bitcoin-Space. Seitdem der Präsident von El Salvador Nayib Bukele angestoßen hat, dass Bitcoin offizielles Zahlungsmittel wird, taucht er selber, El Salvador und Bitcoin City auch immer wieder in den Comics der Künstlerin auf. So wie hier:

* Nur um alle mitzunehmen: Der Begriff "HODL" geht auf diesen Tippfehler des Users "GameKyuubi" zurück und bedeutet, dass er seine Bitcoin nicht verkaufen möchte, sondern halten will.

Dass es die kultige Figur aus den Comics längst auch als physisches Kuscheltier gibt, habe ich hier bereits berichtet. Auch @reiseamateur schlug direkt zu und will mit dem kleinen Halter seine Enkelkinder an das Thema heranführen. Gleiches habe ich mit meinem Kleinkind vor. Weil sich der kleine Halter zwar gut auf meiner Couch macht, sich aber doch ein wenig alleine fühlte, wollte ich ihm von "El Little Presidente" Gesellschaft leisten lassen. Was für eine Ehre, so präsidialen Besuch zu haben. LOL! Bezahlen lässt sich "El Little Presidente" übrigens in Bitcoin.

Die Akzeptanz in der Bevölkerung von El Salvador gegenüber Bitcoin soll nach Berichten übrigens sehr gering sein. Als Marketingaktion war die Einführung als offizielles Zahlungsmittel aber ein voller Erfolg. Der Tourismus in dem kleinen Land ist seit der Einführung um mehr als 100 % gestiegen. Für den Preis von Bitcoin war die Einführung übrigens ein Non-Event, trägt aber zur Massenadaption/-bekanntheit bei.
