I’m alive- so they took my blood.

Great day to be alive and help others. This morning we got a message from the local blood bank that they were having a local blood drive.

We hurried to the blood bus, inconveniently parked at the train station where there is no parking for miles.

The bus was empty. We got right in and they inputted our info into the computer and we got drained without delay. I gave 500cc and my wife gave 250.

Afterwards, we had some terrible crackers and sports drink. I’m guessing they didn’t want people to eat all their goodies, so they choose a second rate cookie.

When we were ready to go they gave us 3 tubes of toothpaste, three hats, and three sets red envelopes for Chinese new year. We returned the toothpaste and one hat. The rest we kept.
