Pizza, Beer and Bitcorn(Hive)

I feel like a bear who just got out of hibernation and stumbled into a one-yard honey hive and no bees to sting on his nose while getting stuffed with sweet honey... Cuz I ate a lot this weekend. I've had a couple of days of excesses and I don't regret a thing. I sure know "bitcorners" don't regret HODLing for one plus year either, now that we're over $20k again and probably on the way up to new highs.

I didn't get into food excesses as a sort of bear market end celebration, not at all. It just happened. There was one pizza and some sweets on Saturday, and the next day another pizza came on the way and more sweets, and then a beer, and two, and redbulls, and I kind of fucked up my diet during the weekend.

But again, I don't regret it cuz I have done it all consciously. I am perfectly aware that as of tomorrow I'm getting back on track with my diet and my regular gym workouts. Rain is going to "get on track" with its freaking odd routine as well in here.

I gotta say I got out of this bear market a bit saltier than the previous one... I know some are probably still expecting BTC to dive down into the $12,000 to $14,000 area, and others who have had such expectations too have quietly dumped their "bear masks" for the bull horns now that it's all fine cuz that how life is in the clown world of crypto...

And...

As I wrote in a @leofinance post a few days/weeks ago(don't remember the exact date) I'm no longer letting my portfolio at the mercy of the crypto gurus who portray themselves as "knowledge carriers" when in fact being nothing more but failed fortune tellers.

I have a strategy and I'm sticking to it. It's all about targets, tacking them down, and moving forward. Emotions no longer have a place in my strategy for the next bull run because emotions "stole my chance away" of making some really nice dough during the 2021 bull market.

It's probably gonna take some time before I'll be in the position of taking any profits on my bear market investments but I'm in no rush in this regard. I'm neither rushed nor fearful anymore. Just living the moment consciously. Same as I did eating the damn two pizzas on Saturday and Sunday, the sweets and whatever else got dumped into my stomach.

I still follow some crypto dudes on Twitter and one of them that I highly recommend is Mr. Anderson. The guy is a trader and although I'm not a trader I did learn a lot from him. Staying conscious, and cold, and having precise targets for your portfolio in crypto is definitely worth focusing on.

Otherwise, volatility will trigger emotionally taken decisions that will screw your portfolio in no time. Been there, done that. Now it's time I should finally make a difference in my life by being in crypto. I've been a side player for too long...

Oh, and...

I paid for almost everything that I consumed this weekend with USDT by using my crypto VISA card, funds coming from my Hive earnings(bear market pennies) which once again makes me feel grateful for our home grown Bitcorn(Hive) here which is truly a provider. An ecosystem that in some cases is more valuable than "the true Bitcorn".

Anyway, time to close the shop now. It's been a nice weekend this one, I had quite some fun, Bitcoin melted some faces with its recent price action, and we'll see what happens next. It's definitely going to be a surprise, no doubt about that ;).

Thanks for your attention,
Adrian

Nice to see you make use of cryptocurrency in the real world and make some fun of it. Would be great to see a credit card accepting HBD, which would make it easier to use with a stablecoin that proved its worth and resilience.

For sure. I have not imagined HBD would hold that well during the bear market.

It is good to celebrate here and there. This bear market found me 4 times richer than the last one. Judging by the same standard, not this bull market, but the next one I will be definitely well on my way.
