LeoFinance has launched Polls on Hive Blockchain

LeoFinance has introduced decentralized voting on his recently launched Thread Interface. According to LeoFinance, Threads is currently contributing over 10% of the total comments made on the entire Hive blockchain every month. The team aims to scale the user base from 1000 MAU to 5000 by the end of the year.
By adding polls on Threads, LeoFinance is offering to its community and the Hive blockchain communities the ability to organize polls in a decentralized, immutable, scalable, fast with zero gas fee.
A social media poll is a great way to build community, facilitate discussion and get feedback from your social media following. Polls are something that you see on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and other social media. There are many advantages to using polls. They help gauge your audience, help get more impressions, and help start a conversation.
How Polls Works on Leo Threads?
When you vote on a poll, you are casting a CUSTOM JSON directly on the Hive blockchain. This CUSTOM JSON is then read by LeoFinance's infrastructure and then displays the results of the Poll directly on your interface. You can look into the data on-chain and see the results. It takes around 5-6 seconds for a vote to be cast and then the results to be displayed.
LeoFinance is gradually moving to turn Leo into the Everything App powered by Hive. A place where you can do Blogging, Microblogging, DeFi, Polls and more to come.
