Visa Expands USDC Stablecoin Settlement on Solana Blockchain

Visa announced today that it is expanding its USDC stablecoin settlement capabilities to the high-performing blockchain Solana.

Visa said it has already moved millions of USDC between its partners over the Solana and Ethereum networks to settle fiat-denominated payments authorized over VisaNet.

The company also announced its working with merchant acquirers like Worldpay and Nuvei to move funds onchain to speed up settlement times.
