Hive Saves My Shortcomings!

Since it's my birthday today, it's a special day for me. Being on this platform, which marks my 27th year of life, is one of the most incredible things that has ever happened to me.

After six months, I still adore everything about Hive.

My life was a complete wreck looking back then. I frequently overthink things and lack goals. Being financially unsettled is one thing that makes me miserable. Even though I already have a steady job as a teacher at a public school, I am burdened with debt from many loans incurred during my college years.

Being the primary provider has made it extremely difficult for me to oversee our money and meet our demands. My mind is filled with worries, and I'm not even sure what to do about my mounting debts, which have a negative impact on my employment, emotional stability, and mental well-being.

But one day, when I learned about Hive, I was initially apprehensive because I thought it was more complicated than the other platform I used. I question my abilities because I am not a good writer like others. I feel under pressure and wonder if I can provide quality content.

But I decided to take the chance and face my worries. I decided to explore the Hive world. Initially, whenever I put something on Hive, my heart beats quickly, and I am anxious about pressing the "publish" button. I occasionally make mistakes, which leaves me feeling disappointed and frustrated.

But over time, after I had mastered managing all the mechanics and elements I needed to take into account in each community I joined, I grew to adore the Hive universe. I started to organize my time and put all my effort into every piece of material I made after realizing I was enjoying every second of it.

HIVE IMPROVES MY QUALITY OF LIFE!

Hive changed my life, and I became a better person. Living in the Hive taught me how to control my emotions and perspective. I direct all my stress toward writing rather than worrying excessively about the difficulties and issues surrounding me. I deal with my emotional breakdowns by learning about and exploring the Hive world rather than wasting time on them. I've learnt a lot from everyone in this room, and all the stories I read from other people inspire and motivate me, which undoubtedly helps me change for the better.

HIVE SAVES ME FROM MY SHORTCOMINGS!

Hive supports me psychologically and emotionally and protects me from my shortcomings. The thing I struggle with the most is my uncertain financial situation. Being the only provider for the family is challenging because I have to handle all of our finances, from our daily necessities like food, bills, my parents' monthly medications, my little sister's educational aids, transportation, and more. I feel at ease whenever I run out of money because Hive protects me from it.

In addition, Hive allowed me to assist my Indigenous students. I can buy them the food they need to stay full and concentrate on their academics and the supplies they need for school. Helping them with even the little tasks that could ease their responsibilities makes me feel good.

Now that it's my birthday, I want to express my sincere gratitude to Hive for improving my life. I am growing to love it more and more. Now that I have experienced the power of Hive, I am ready to pursue new objectives and heftier goals.
