7 Day Dollar Cost Average - Bitcoin - Week #1

When it comes to using Newton exchange as an onboard for crypto you can set daily buys as I kind of pointed out in my last post.

With that, I thought it would be a great weekly series to show off my DCA into Bitcoin. I am doing this at $5 a day. I know this is a lot but I thought it would reward me with more BTC than buying once a week or month.

Daily Buy

As seen on the first day I was able to get 0.000212 sats. This was at $23,539(Canadian) per BTC.

On the second day, BTC was a little lower at $23,363 Canadian per BTC. This allowed me to get 0.000214. very small gains compared to the day before.

On the third day, we saw a small dump in the price of BTC, it went down to $22,497 Canadian per BTC. This price allowed me to go up a bit to 0.000222 Sats.

Fourth day of buying $5 in BTC the price was down again. This is mostly due to the FTX scam but I won't complain. I was able to get 0.000224 sats at a price of $22,342 Canadian.

The fifth day prices recovered just a little to $22,492, this allowed me to get 0.000222 sats.

Day six and we see a little more recovery, with the FTX exchange scam leaving the media we slowly go back up to $22,685. Not quite that $23000 mark but I like lower while I buy in. I was able to get 0.00022 Sats.

We can see the seventh buy BTC tanked a bit again to $22,428. Again BTC under $23000 is good for me. I am aiming to stack more and more so a low price is good. I was able to get 0.000223 sats.

Conclusion

In the end, I was able to get a 7-day total of 0.001537 sats.

I am not sure if this is better than buying weekly but I am sure over time I can DCA in cheaper. For the next report, I will have my avg price for this week in a chart.

With these exchanges, I don't keep any crypto on any of them. This is not a safe crypto practice.
