AN ENJOYABLE AND AMAZING TRIP TO THE CITY HALL OF CITY OF BOGO 🎄🌟🥰

There were moments that family has in common especially when we talk about a trip or traveling in one place.

Hello, my Hive Friends!!!

How are you feeling today? Hoping you're doing well and feel okay. Let me share with you about our short trip and amazing travel. Mostly we love to travel, right? We love to travel and visit some places that we were not used to. To visit a place where it has a pleasant environment that could perfectly unwind ourselves.

My father asked us ( me and my husband) to accompany him to process his Senior Citizen ID application and this will be done in the City Hall of the City of Bogo. I immediately say "Yes" to him because it is still Christmas break, obviously no classes and it is only our vacant time to process this thing and I felt my father's happiness. He dressed up himself and prepared all his attachment documents.

I immediately took a photocopy of his Voter's identification card and the National ID and told him to prepare also pictures or photos in sizes 1x1 or 2x2 maybe they will look for it, just bring everything so that we mustn't need to go home just to get that thing.

These were the views along our way to the City Hall. There were many people walking beside the road and others were riding in a car because it is the holiday season, a time to spend with the family that's why others were going home and others were having groceries in preparation for the upcoming holiday. We can also see buses, tricycles, and other cars that were full of passengers.

We turned left for our way going to City Hall, a distance approximately 2 kilometers from the highway.

As we arrived in the City Hall, many tricycles for hire were parked in front they were waiting for passengers. While they were waiting, they were having a chitchat with their friends who were also tricycle drivers. We turned around and looked for a place where to park and somewhere that is not so exposed to the heat of the sun. In the parking lot, this was what I had seen. The flowers beautifully blooms, the plants were attractively trimmed and the grasses which taken care of. The environment was full of green sceneries and the air breeze you could feel.

Here we were excitedly taking pictures with those pine trees while my kids were amazed at the Christmas decorations attached. Besides, this decoration attracted my eyes a Winged-like eagle. I was so excited to take pictures and I asked my husband to capture photos. Wow! I appreciated the concept of this decoration and it will be more beautiful at night when the lights are shown on.

We headed inside the City Hall and proceed to the CSWD, the department in charge of the Senior Citizen ID application. We asked the officer what to do, and she gave us the application form. She told us to fill up the form and let the Barangay Captain sign at the back portion of the page and after submit it back to her office.

I immediately filled it up and I asked my father to affix his signature above to his printed name. We went to our Barangay Hall 7.1 kilometers away from the City Hall. It was far though but we made it an enjoyable trip as we can see the beauty of the environment and also I was grateful then that my husband was willing to drive and take us for a ride, he was also having fun since we could travel only once in a while.

When we were near the Gairan Barangay Hall, these were also what we had seen. The trees, flowers, signages, etc. Our barangay hall is located in a little uphill part of Gairan.

As we reached the barangay hall this was what welcomes us. There are lovely decorations in their garden. Their colorful plants were placed in recycled pots, the flowers were made of recycled materials, the tires of the car were also used as pots and some of the plastic galloons were made and designed as animals.

The secretary of the barangay welcomes and entertains as well. She asked what she can help and we humbly answered, "We wanted to ask for the barangay Captain's signature for the completion of this application form"

She let us take our seats and we handed the filled-up form to her. She let the barangay captain sign it and the barangay captain signed it directly without any further questions because she knew my father well as an obedient individual of the barangay and she said " Thank you for coming here to our barangay hall". We also replied, " Thank you also for the warm welcome you showed us"

We get back to the City Hall to submit the accomplished form and the officer told us that the release of the Senior Citizen ID will maybe take one to two weeks but because the City Hall was far from our home place, She offered her contact number to follow up the said application, when it is the time, we will call her before we will be going to travel so that we won't waste our effort to travel there.

We called it a day. We enjoyed ourselves and had fun as we had our short and amazing trip. I thank God for guiding us and keeping us safe on that day. A successful day and it had given happiness to father at least if he will already have his Senior Citizen Identification Card, he could enjoy the following, discounted medicines, food stores that give credit to all senior citizens, and some passenger cars and buses that give a discount.
