Be Your Own Bank

You never know how much control you don’t have till you are really in need for money and realize that you can’t have it because the bank placed some restrictions on your account. At that moment you will know just how powerless and vulnerable you are to the bank, even though they promise you security, is your financial freedom secured? This is what crypto is trying to give us right now, with its blockchain technology and decentralization. Crypto can be your bank, just like bitcoin, and here is the reason why Bitcoin can be your own bank.

One thing for sure is how decentralized bitcoin is, a currency that is not controlled by the government and has no political influence on. Crypto is working 24/7 without holidays and that is because of the lack of political control. Each of us here that has crypto stored in a decentralized wallet know just how it feels to control your own money. But if you had in a centralized exchange, there is no difference in having it in a bank. I remember few weeks ago when I couldn’t withdraw my CRO token because the centralized exchange said so, I was stuck for weeks, the excitement I felt when I finally withdrew it was liberating but at the same time was intimidating because, the centralized exchange had so much power in withholding my withdrawal.

Crypto is the best way to be your bank, if you are with the right coin, because, crypto is a currency that fulfills other features of fiat and more except, you can’t touch it. It has value, can be transacted, can be used as a means of payment and can be used as remittance. As a matter of fact, it has a technology that can do more than what fiat can’t do. And lastly, it’s not controlled by the government unlike fiat that is fully controlled by the government.

Like I said, you can’t have this assets with all these qualities and still leave them in a centralized exchange, then you are not being your own bank, to be your own bank you have to control your money your self by using decentralized wallets and exchanges. This way you are truly your own bank.
