Kucoin, Gate, Bitrue and LBank to list SATS (BRC-20) token

Crypto exchanges Kucoin, Gate, Bitrue and LBank announced they will be listing the SATS (BRC20) token. This follows the announcement of Binance to list and allow the trading of the ORDI (BRC20) token. Decentralized exchange like LibreDex have also started to offer SATS Buy/Sell.

SATS token is a token created on Bitcoin Blockchain through the BRC-20 standard, similar to Ethereum ERC-20 token standard. A maximum of 2.1 quadrillion SATS tokens were deployed on March 9th BRC20 on the Bitcoin network.

According to Unisat data, the token is held by +39 000 holders on the Bitcoin network. The price is currently trading at $0.00000012 per Coingecko.

About BRC-20

The BRC-20 token standards were introduced in March 2023 by a pseudonymous programmer named Domo to make minting fungible tokens on Bitcoin possible.

It's Taproot and Ordinals protocol introduced by developer Casey Rodarmor in January 2023 who made the BRC-20 standard possible with the idea of inscribing data on any satoshi within the Bitcoin network. This unlocked new capabilities for the Bitcoin network, such as their use in DeFi, SocialFi and GameFi. Wallets and exchanges have started to deploy tools that support BRC-20 tokens.
