Covering an entire mountain for nothing

These pictures are the original files from my portfolio.
It was 2005 when the Andermatt Glacier was covered entirely with white plastic.

The brilliant idea was the fruit of a research made by almost 150 scientists and journalists from all over the world, they thought that covering the glaciers scattered around the planet would preserve them from melting.

How can, a normal person, conceive the idea to cover all the mountains in the world with white sheets of plastic which is also a derivate of petrol.
It's sounds ridicoulse isn't it?

The silliest fact is that they went on with the "so called business" for a long time, sucking money from funders, governs, laboratories, press etc etc, it was a kind of machine to make money.

The project ended up very badly, obviously, nobody has been mentioned regarding the fact that plenty of money has been used for such a bullshit, money that if used wisely would have changed really the situation

I remember that even the World Economic Forum was talking about the project and everybody agreed that was genius!
We are in 2023, nothing has been made, actually we have glaciers melting all over the world, we have a global climate emergency, but it seems that nobody cares.

I guess it's time to roll our sleeves and start changing the way we live without waiting for "them to decide"
they only care about money.
