Left and Right Agree on Climate Change

There aren't many things that you might find the left and right agree on but one issue where they do seem to find similar ground is on the issue of climate change. Surveys have also recently indicated that many Americans don't think that their representatives are doing enough about it.

It would help to add more honesty to the message if those who tasked themselves with spreading it around to the world tried to implement at the very least some more environmentally-friendly transportation methods when doing so. It comes off as a little hypocritical when you are warning about climate change yet taking private flights to meet together to discuss the topic. Surely there are more advanced and effective means of getting together and talking about such a topic. When celebrities themselves also want to pick up the message but then are found to have a heavy footprint with frequent private flights or yacht usage, it makes you wonder if they even believe in the message they are spreading? This is why critics have repeatedly called on them to do better.

Incredible technological advancement has taken place in the market to bring about multiple tools that are being used today to help address the problem and clean the environment of plastic, to provide alternative energy and food solutions, and more. From tackling the great garbage patch to other troublesome scenes, entrepreneurs around the world have been working on these issues to help improve the lives for billions and make the world a better place in the future.

For those politicians who do want to continue raising the alarm surrounding climate change then they too might want to reconsider their foreign policy position, among others, which can arguably greatly and negatively impact the environment in multiple ways.

There are a myriad of climate goals that have been introduced in the US and elsewhere with hefty plans to cut carbon pollution and boost more sales of electric vehicles etc, though some aren't as optimistic if the plans will be met in time. There is also the question of whether or not force should be used to bring about these solutions rather than affording consumers the choice of what route they might like to take. Many people don't need to be forced into making 'greener' decisions and they're happy to take up that change in habit on their own for bags, driving, and more.
