Bitcoin Shrimps On The Rise

The number of wallets holding less than one bitcoin continues to rise. But the bitcoin millionaire wallet count has dropped about 80% this year. Is btc millionaire wallets going down something to worry about? That's what some might be asking.

In the first three quarters of this year the number of bitcoin millionaire wallets plunged about 70%, this included tens of thousands of wallets.

But smaller holders are rising it looks like with the shrimp wallets climbing, among others. Their wallet balances are hitting record highs.

One recent Bankrate survey suggested that popularity with millennials for this market has dipped significantly this year, and it isn't surprising to see that older generations might report being less comfortable now than they were around 2021.

As the CFA for Bankrate pointed out on the topic, during bear markets it is difficult to be enthusiastic, the real test he says comes when things are down and it is more difficult to be excited about it, and obviously not everyone has lost hope.

Many of those who aren't as comfortable with cryptocurrencies might have also not fully understood what the market entails before letting news scandals on one project or another possibly sway their opinion of the industry overall.
