No amount of articles can describe the current excitement and euphoria in the crypto market as we’ve seen one of the best pumps in the last year! Bitcoin just keeps pamping and we love it!

A look at the 30-day chart indicates that we’ve been able to break and hold above 17.8k, the 30-day resistance between December to January.

To kind of confirm this is most likely not a fake-out, after the break of the 17.8k resistance, price retested the said resistance and got rejected, turning the once resistance into a support. It’ll need to stay that way if we have any hopes of seeing a bull run soon.

The numbers are pumping unbelievably causing most people to be skeptical about whether this fast pump can hold. But considering that during this bear market, the dump happened at a just as fast rate, I’m not surprised how fast Bitcoin is pumping, and I’m absolutely optimistic about Bitcoin holding this momentum in the days and even months to come.

30k Soon?

I wouldn’t be too fast to start mentioning numbers, because even though we want what we want (a bug pump), we need to keep realism behind the back of our heads. What are the odds that this pump will not only sustain the momentum, but hit even higher numbers?

Just in the last 7 days, BTC is up by 22% already and looking at the chart history for the past few months, that’s a crazy pump!

But that’s the thing about crypto…

We still can’t rule out the chance of 30k soon completely because crypto is unpredictable. Not even by the self acclaimed professionals. Even though Technical analysis does give you a better and logical insight into what could be, it can’t in any way tell for sure what will happen.

So even the 30k which we think is unrealistic looking at logic could shock us tomorrow. Literally tomorrow.

Who would’ve thought the 16k Bitcoin we were all preparing to give up 2 days ago will do close to 21k in less than just 48 hours? Definitely not me. Lol

Crypto enthusiasts and Twitter “crypto experts” were predicting a 10k Bitcoin just a few days ago in belief that we’re not at the bottom of this bear yet. And even though that could’ve been true, I want to believe a good number of the same “experts” have had a change of mind due to the recent numbers we’ve seen.

LPUD

LPUD is finally upon us! I’ve been looking forward to today as it’l be the first LPUD on my alt account and since it’s the first month of the year, I really will be able to track the growth of my account over the next 12 months.

How much my account seems to be growing on the Leo side is not bad. I created this alt 2 weeks ago and I’ve been able to collect 88LEO on it.

Aside the 88 LEO, I’ve also had 3.5HBD worth of rewards in terms of HBD which I’ll be converting into HIVE to buy LEO to top up to my 150LP target every month. If I’m able to stick to this (and I’m positive I’ll be able to) I should hit my 2.5k new cub status by the end of year, give or take 4 or 5 random higher power ups along the line.

Now down to business

3.5HBD gave me 10.19HIVE. I added 2 HIVE from my main account to top it to 12HIVE and that got me 160LEO on LeoDex. Today was my first use of LeoDex. Another thing I’d been looking forward to. I explored it as a task on the newbies initiative but never really used it for LEO purchase as I mostly did that with Hive-engine.

An exciting development happened as I was writing this post. I was part of the the hold contest winners last week and this week, and I didn’t think I was going to be receiving my prize today. I actually have. I received 125LEO, so that adds up to my 160LEO to make 285LEO.

Powering up the 285LEO gave my account 285LP of its own lol. I say “of it’s own” because it’s already receiving a 300LP delegation from my main account. So in addition, this gives it an effective 585LP for curation. Not too bad for a start.
